At Taskit, are committed on ensuring that all our users’ community, both client and taskers are guided by our foundational standards and values. That’s why we are also committed to enforce the following guidelines to ensure that all users have an enjoyable experience on our platforms.

 

While we are working hard to enforce such guidelines, we would also appreciate your utter support in enforcing them by reporting any suspected member violation. This can be done here. Please make sure to include the members name as written on their profile in the description box. Otherwise, you can also contact us. We would investigate your report ASAP.

 

Taskit takes breaches of the Community Guidelines seriously. If we found that you have breached the guidelines stated below, we may take action to remove any content or task you have submitted to Taskit Platform or cancel or suspend Your account and/or any Task Contracts.

1. Publicly sharing private information

​

To protect your safety and security, private contact details or 3rd party links are not allowed to be shared in any public areas of the site including any comments and attachments. This includes, but is not limited to, business websites, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, personal emails, phone numbers, addresses or personal websites.

2. Unacceptable behaviours

​

The sense of community is the foundational aspect at Taskit and is the core of why this platform is here. A mutual respect is essential to us, as it should be for you. At Taskit, we do not tolerate any of following negative behaviours against other members of the community:

  • Hatred or violence

  • Discrimination

  • Harassment

  • Illegal behaviours

  • Trolling

3. Unsupported practices

​

At taskit, we're committed to bringing our communities together, however this also requires your support and full cooperation. We do not support the following activities within our community, as it jeopardizes the creation of a fair, transparent and trustworthy environment:
 

  • Fake reviews

  • Artificially improving public profile

  • Harvesting member information

  • Lead generation

  • Posting fake tasks

4. Pricing and payments

​

To ensure a safe and rewarding environment for all members of the Taskit community, it's important to understand how pricing and payments work.

​

  • No partial payments

​

Any offers made on your task should be for the full scope of the task. When you accept an offer, that is the final amount that you're obligated to pay and there are no additional fees. Tasks offering partial payment, including sales and commission-based tasks, are not permitted and will be moderated and/or removed.

​

  • Taskit Payment Account

​

Cash payments are currently not supported on the Taskit platform. When an offer is accepted you will need to add funds to the task, which are securely held in a Taskit Payment Account until the task is completed. The Taskit Payment Account ensures your funds are held safely until the task is finalized and confirmed that it is done by both parties.

  • Payment with VISA/Mastercard or Cash

​

All tasks must be remunerated via Credit or Debit Mastercard or VISA Card, or Cash

5. Accountability and your reputation

​

You remain accountable for both your behaviour on Taskit platform and the outcome of the task. Your responsibilities include:

  • The experience you provide for other members

​

Clients must not repetitively provide poor experiences for other members of the Taskit Community.

​

We remind you that where Taskit receives reports that you have breached any of these Guidelines, we may take action to remove any content, or cancel or suspend your account and/or any task contracts.

6. Account eligibility

​

We understand that you want your account up and running as fast as possible, but we need you to make sure you qualify for the below:

​

  • 18 years or older:

​

All members of the Taskit community must be 18 years or older. This is a legal requirement as people under the age of 18 are not able to enter a legal contract with Taskit. Taskit reserves the right to request proof of age should this be necessary.

7. Account administration

​

The following are some of important information on having an account on taskit:

​

  • No account transfers

​

Your account is your responsibility and you must maintain control of it. It must not be transferred to another person as your account and reviews reflect your skills and abilities.

​

  • No duplicate accounts

​

Members may only have a single, active account on the platform. As your account reflects your reputation in the marketplace and represents your skills and abilities, any duplicate accounts attempting to disguise a member's history, will be removed immediately

​

  • Cooperating with other members for the Taskit Community and Taskit Staff

​

Where members of the Taskit Community or Taskit Staff reach out to request information, both Clients and Taskers are required to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Identity on taskit

​

Taskit is committed to building a community platform that is a positive and safe environment for all. This commitment is grounded in the principles of transparency and respect. To help foster trust in the community, all members are required to have a profile name that accurately identifies. A personal profile photo is strongly advised to build trust between the parties.

Taskit profile standards

​

  • Name

​

Your real name as confirmed by your identification documents (id, passport, drivers license etc.).

​

  • Profile photo

​

A clear front-on profile photo of a members face when possible, to make it easy for members to recognize each other
